In this tiny Dordogne hamlet of 20 old and authentic
French farms and cottages, this beautifully restored house
is located on the outskirts of Juillac in 3 acres of private land
Within
a range of 20 km there are the attractive villages with daily markets,
famous caves & chateaux of the Dordogne. For the energetic there is
canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, horseriding
and golfing.
Possibility for a larger group to rent the house next door: no.2 La Maison Bleue together with Le Marquis.
The pool has an alarm and the terraces are fenced.For children there is a swing, sandbox and a children's corner with toys, dolls etc...
For daily shopping St Laurent la Vallée, Daglan & St Pompon are
only 2-5 km away and there are supermarkets nearby in Cenac, Sarlat
,Siorac and St. Cyprien.
Details of accomodation::
A fully restored 300 year old house
with separate guesthouse. The living room has beamed ceilings and
a huge stone fireplace with
woodburner, a comfortable setttee, armchairs, satellite TV (UK/NL), video,DVD-player,
music centre, tel, books, toys.
There is a fully
equipped kitchen (gashob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hotwater kettle,senseo coffeemach.etc) and dining area.
A French door in the living room opens to a covered veranda with teak diningtable
that seats 8. Beyond is the garden, swimming pool (10x4m, saltbased) &
sunterraces. Poolside sunbeds, tables, chairs and umbrella.
Upstairs is a bedroom with
double bed and a spacious showerroom with washbasin, WC & shower.
Downstairs is a large bedroom
with French door, - twin beds and a small spareroom with bunkbed.
En suite bathroom with washbasin, WC and bath/shower.
The guesthouse is just opposite the main house.
It has one large room (35m2) incorporating dining-,relax-, sleeping
& kitchen areas ( fridge/freezer, 2 hotplates for electric cooking & coffeemachine / hotwater kettle,etc.). There is a double bed and music centre. En suite bathroom
with washbasin, WC and shower.
Next to the guesthouse is a storage/laundryroom with washingmachine,
tumble dryer and clothes lines. Hot water is supplied by the central
heating system.
Downs, pillows, vacuum cleaner, iron,
ironboard, babycot, highchair, hairdryer and BBQ are provided
Also available: central heating, flyscreens and ventilators.
Linen/towels (20 € pp) are available.
End of stay cleaning (€90) at choice.
