Situated at the top of a hill facing south, with an exceptional view overlooking the valley, 'Les Précieuses' is an invitation to relax and take it easy.
We offer you the choice of 2 houses, each sleeping up to 5 adults, all independent with their own entrance, private parking in an enclosed park.
There are 2 swimming pools of 8,5 m X 4,0 m, heated from 1st of May to the 1st of October. (up to 26°). A large play area, partially shaded, where children and adults can play, is set aside with swings, sand pit, table tennis and a football area.
The chalets were built to make the most of the exceptional setting, overlooking the countryside and is a place to spend a splendid holiday.
The houses are facing south to make the most of the sun in a park full of shrubs and trees. It is possible to rent an individual house and share a heated swimming pool with 1 other house. It is also possible to rent 2 or more houses.
Within a range of 20 km there are very attractive villages with daily markets, famous caves & chateaux of the Dordogne.
For the energetic there is canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, horse riding and golfing.
The friendly owners,who speak English, French and German, live at approx. 100m from your holiday home.
For daily shopping, St. Laurent la Vallée, St Pompon and Belvès are at only 10 mins. drive; there are also supermarkets nearby in Cenac, Sarlat ,Siorac and St. Cyprien.
Details of accomodation:
The bungalows have been built in a traditional way with exposed solid beams. The furniture and fittings are of high quality. There is a constant supply of hot water, all the mattresses are latex, and there is a kitchen with solid wood units.
Via the covered terrace with stunning views with stone BBQ and dining table you enter the central living space with a fully equipped kitchen (dish washer, gas cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine/Senseo, etc.) on the left. There is a dining area, and a living area with TV. Behind the kitchen is the shower room with shower, wash basin, washing machine and a separate toilet.
At the back of the house are 2 bedrooms: 1 with a king size bed and 1 with a solid bunk bed with a sliding bed underneath. A baby cot and high chair are available.
Each bedroom has a wardrobe and a safe.
Also available: electric heating, hoover, iron, ironing board, pillows and duvets. Baby cot and high chair.
End of stay cleaning obligatory: €45
Linnen/towels rental possible at €20 pp.
Pets are not allowed.
