7 Daglan Pechauriol

Daglan is a beautiful medieval village close to the river 'Le Ceou', approx 20 km south of the famous touristic centre of the Dordogne: Sarlat.
Close to the center of Daglan (100m) you'll find the lovely holiday home Pechauriol. Nicely decorated with views over the rolling hillsides of Daglan. The house has a covered swimming pool with alarm that can slide open in the summer. The garden (4000 m2) is completely fenced.
Spending your holiday in Daglan will enable you to walk to the bakery to buy your croissant in the morning, or drink a nice glass of wine on one of the village terraces.
In Daglan you'll find 2 restaurants, a tea house, bank, post office, butcher, bakery, supermarket and some other shops.
On Sunday mornings visit the famous Daglan market with lots of regional products. Daglan is on the river Le Ceou. At 300 m from the house you can fish, swim and play. There is a playground with stone BBQs, picnic tables and swings. Each year, around the 20th of August, Daglan parties for 4 days, with music/ bands, BBQs, carnival etc.
There are many Chateaux in the immediate region including the impressive Castelnaud (10 minutes by car) which overlooks the Dordogne River, it's beaches and canoeing facilities.
A little further along the river is La Roque Gageac, once voted the prettiest village in France - and when you visit you will understand why.

Pechauriol is a traditionally build périgordin house, of high quality, with modern furniture and spacious bed - and bath rooms.
Several cars can be parked next to the house in the fenced garden.
The south faced covered swimming pool is in front of the house. Childeren can be watched from the covered terrace that leads to the living room and open planned kitchen.
French doors open to the covered front terrace and the back side terrace with BBQ.

This holiday home has a spacious living/dining room with open planned well equipped kitchen - fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooker/oven, coffee machine., toaster, etc. The sitting area has a comfortable settee. There is Sat.TV/ DVD, a music centre and books and games.
Next to the kitchen you'll find a double bedroom with wardrobe and a beautiful spacious bathroom with bath,shower, double washbasin and a separate toilet.
Stairs lead to the first floor. On the landing a spare bed and acces to two equipped double bedrooms and the shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet.
The washing machine is in the cellar.
Pechauriol has central heating. Eiderdowns, pillows, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironboard, baby cot & high chair are provided.
End of stay cleaing obligatory: €75
Linen/towels are available at €20 pp
