Idyllically situated in the tiny hamlet of Juillac, not far from St. Laurent la Vallée and Daglan, you'll find these 3 Perigourdin-style holiday homes with a child safe shared swimming pool.
The properties: La Marraine (sleeps 4+), La Terrasse (sleeps 6-8) and Lou Coudert (sleeps 8-12). They are completely independent. The distance between the houses is a maximum 150 meters, and also the maximum distance to the swimming pool.
You can rent the properties separately or if you wish with a group of friends. Each house has its own parking, garden, terrace, BBQ etc.
The friendly owners will sell you their fresh eggs or their home made eau de vie, and will show your children their rabbits and chickens.
The properties are well maintained with fully equipped kitchens, the interior of the house is basic. For low season there is electric heating and/or wood burners.
The child-safe fenced swimming pool (12 x 6 m with overflow) has a superb view over the valley has a terrace with sunbeds, garden tables, chairs, umbrellas, jeu de boule, and a pool house with shower/W.C.
The area is ideal for walking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, tennis & golf. In St. Laurent la Vallée, Daglan and St. Pompon there is a bank, post office, village shop, butcher and bakery as well as bars and restaurants. The La Dordogne river is 10 km away, Sarlat just 22 km.
Details of accommodation:
La Marraine (sleeps 4+) is an attractive house with all rooms at ground level. There is an inner courtyard and a large covered terrace. Behind the house is a garden and pasture.
The living room (40 m2) has an American kitchen, there is an open fireplace, a settee, armchairs, sideboard and an dining table that seats 6.
A shower room with wash basin and washing machine. The W.C. is separate.
There are 2 double bedrooms, each with a wardrobe. There is a cot and an extra folding bed.
La Terrasse (sleeps 6-8) and faces south. There is a large covered shaded terrace for leisure and dining. The kitchen, living room and a bedroom open up onto the terrace.
A separate equipped kitchen with breakfast table.
Living room in which there is a settee and some armchairs, TV/video, table for eight, sideboard and a wood-burning stove.
There are 3 bedrooms (1 with 2 double beds, two with a double bed & cot). The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, washbasin and washing machine. There is a separate W.C. There is a barbecue and a swing in the garden.
Lou Coudert (sleeps 8-12) is a lovely old double farmhouse with 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 showers/WC's etc.
You enter the property through a gate into an inner courtyard. Opposite the house is a garage with an attic / games room, including table tennis. The houses are similar, and communicate with each other. You enter the house into an equipped kitchen which has a small table with stools. There is a living room with fireplace, a table that seats 6, a settee and a double sofa/bed. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a shower room with wash basin and separate W.C.
Total sleeping capacity of the two houses is:
2 bed rooms with 1 double bed and baby cot (2 x 2 pers. + baby), 1 bed room with 2 double beds and a single bed (5 pers.) 1 bedroom with 2 double beds (4 pers.).
Opposite the house is a separate garden with swing and clothesline.
In each of the houses there are: blankets, pillows, bed covers, vacuum cleaner, iron/board, garden table & chairs, a parasol, BBQ, washing machine, dish washer, gas cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, mixer, toaster, coffee machine, TV, baby cot, high chair.
Linen/towels (20€ pp) are available.
Optional end-of-stay cleaning (65€ and 100€ for LC).
Pets are allowed.
