6. Damage deposit
you are requested to pay a
damage deposit in case something breaks, etc...
All properties belong to private owners Most
of them are very nicely decorated. The value of the equipment, furniture,
etc. is much higher than the requested deposit. The housecheck and the refund of
the deposit is usually just before your
departure. The deposit will be paid to you in cash or transferred to your
bank within a month after your departure. Please
mention damages, breakages and losses.
We can either deduct this from your deposit or you may be insured against it.
7. Child safety
Most of the properties are in between 100 and 300 years old. Over the years the
houses have been renovated and redecorated. Often there are one or more stairs
in and outside the house. This means that
it can sometimes be unsafe for people with (small) children. Several owners have taken precautions to
add safety fences around the swimming pool or near stairs to make your holiday a little
bit safer. This according to current French legislation.
At the top of each site you can find whether the property is relatively safe with children.
Still a swimming pool can be highly dangerous for children who can not swim,
please watch them all the time ! We do not accept responsibility for any accidents on or near the property.
8. Swimming pool
Almost each property has a private fenced
swimming pool (exept houses. 06, 07 08 which have shared pools) The dimensions of the pool
are mentioned per individual property. There are also circular sometimes
above ground pools. They are 1.20m deep and in between 5 and 5.5m wide. These
are professional chlorinated pools.
Some swimming pools are salt
based. This means there are no chemicals added, and
it is better for the skin, especially for people with allergies. Maintenance is at least once a week. All pools
are in top condition.
